Fritz Keck is a local artist best known for his catalog of distinctive Pittsburgh scenes. The Cathedral of Learning sits on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh. It is estimated that more than 97,000 children donated a dime to its construction. The structure was donated to the university by Andrew and Richard Mellon.
