Fritz Keck is a local artist best known for his "Once Upon a Time" catalog of distinctive Pittsburgh scenes. Depicted here are the Carrie Blast Furnaces, which were built in 1907 and ceased operation in 1984. Iron made in the furnaces was transferred across the river to be made into steel at the Homestead Works.

Almost Perfect

I love the print and found the perfect frame for it. The frame mimics some rust. The only reason the title reads 'Almost Perfect' is maybe it could be a tad larger, (for the small frame anyway), but the combination is perfect.

Thanks for your review, Mark! It looks great in the frame you found. Hope you enjoy the print.
