Fritz Keck is a local artist best known for his catalog of distinctive Pittsburgh scenes. The setting depicted is the J & L Eliza Works from across the Monongahela River in 1972. Closed in 1977, at one time, it employed more than 5,000 people. The site was demolished in the 1980s.
