Undercutting Machine Cart — 1910

Fritz Keck is a local artist best known for his "Once Upon a Time" catalog of distinctive Pittsburgh scenes. The setting captured here is Vest Mine featuring an electric trolley wire -- which was used to move the mule carts and eventually replaced by battery power.
