J&L Towboat with Ferry

Fritz Keck is a local artist best known for his "Once Upon a Time" catalog of distinctive Pittsburgh scenes. Captured here is a Jones & Laughlin Steel towboat and ferry transporting freight cars between Eliza Works and Aliquippa. In the foreground, the South 10th Street Bridge is under construction (1931).
